Best Best for Finding a Job

Company closed, downsized, or eliminated your position ? Employment benefits about to run out ? Have you been sending your resume to just about every ad on Craig's List ?

Well.. let me tell you

There is an better more effective way

Craig s List is great for selling a car or finding an apartment, but as far as finding a job, there is simply too much competition. Try posting an ad for a basic office job, see for yourself what you get for responses. You will be amazed at the amount of applicants you will find - these people are your competition.

You need to find someone getting ready to hire - just before they decide to post or advertise!!

Get your resume together, go out and hit the pavement and visit nearby companies that you could see yourself working at. Find the manager or human resources manager, let them know your interested in a job and if they aren't hiring, ask them if they know of anyone who is.

Companies love people who take charge and think outside the box.
Visit Chambers of Commence meetings, BNI groups, and other places where business people gather. Get to know managers and owners, spread the word and you will be sure to find something soon.
